I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended public schools here in Arcadia including Baldwin Stocker, First Avenue, and Arcadia High. For college, I went to Cal State Fullerton. There, I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. I taught 4th and 5th grade intervention in Arcadia for 3 years before moving on to teach 5th grade at High Point Academy, a private school in Pasadena. I worked at High Point for 5 years. While at High Point, I started and led Eagle Spirit Club, which promoted school spirit and camaraderie among students and staff. I also designed and sold their school spirit T-shirts. In the summer, I spend most of my time traveling. My favorite sport is baseball and I love the Dodgers; I even have a dog named Butler (after Brett Butler). I also love camping, yoga, snowboarding, hiking and pretty much anything outdoors. This will be my 5th year as a Highland Oaks Hawk, I love teaching at our amazing school!
